Moscow is ranked 23rd largest in the world by land area and somwhere between 7th-14th (a highly disputed statistic) based on population; so when living here, you are most definitely going to want a social life. And there are so many amazing things to see here; beautiful architecture, museums, concert halls, parks and an active street life to name just a few.
Your best source; though, will come from your students as well as your colleagues here at Sunny Plus; most of whom have been living, getting around and enjoying the social scene for many years. But in addition to these sources, you are going to want to visit Expat.ru, as this is the largest source of collected information on most any subject you can think of with regard to living in Moscow. In particular and with regard to social life here in the city, visit their Local Events forum, as it is loaded with invitations and information from other foreigners like yourself who have built a life for themselves amongst this wonderful culture and its' interesting citizens.
